Dwayne Haskins Jr. was an American football quarterback who played in the National Football League for three seasons.

Dwayne Haskins played college football at Ohio State, where he won the Sammy Baugh Trophy and was the 2019 Rose Bowl MVP as a sophomore.
Born in Highland Park, New Jersey to Tamara Haskins and Dwayne Haskins Sr., Dwayne Haskins Jr. and his family moved to Potomac, Maryland, when he was in the ninth grade.
Dwayne Haskins used to be a fullback, but when he turned 10, he started playing in the quarterback position to be “more involved.”
Coaches and others who were around Haskins during the younger years of his career said Haskins’ father, Dwayne Haskins Sr. used to train him every weekend.

“Dwayne Sr would take his son to a hill near the Rutgers football stadium in New Jersey to run up and down with weights on,” said Jim Gay who used to coach Haskins.
Sadly, Dwayne Haskins died around 7 a.m. EDT (UTC-4) on April 9, 2022, when he was struck by a dump truck on a South Florida highway.
Dwayne Haskins was in Florida to train with several of his Steelers teammates.
The Florida Highway Patrol stated that Dwayne Haskins was walking on Interstate 595 near Davie when he was struck by the dump truck while attempting to cross the westbound lanes of the highway and died at the scene.
