Michael Mehrdad Latifi was born in October 1962 to his parents, Mohammad Bagher Latifi and Fatemeh Latifi. There is not much information available regarding his exact date and place of birth.
Michael Latifi obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from McGill University. He was raised alongside his siblings Max Latifi, Afsaneh Latifi, and Afschineh Latifi.
