Did Shilpa Shetty attend Jade’s funeral?

Jade Goody will be visited by the former foe Shilpa Shetty for a tearful last goodbye before she loses her cancer battle.

Bollywood actress Shilpa, 33, has phoned Jade regularly since the mum of two learned two months ago that she was dying.

Shetty was unable to attend Goody’s wedding last month. Shetty said her heart sank on hearing her fellow Big Brother contestant Jade Goody had died.

Shetty had planned to meet Goody after she flew to London last week but was unable to see her because she was too ill.

The actress said on her blog”Jade put up a brave fight, lost her battle with cancer but won many a heart with her courage and how she dealt with it.

She added: ”She truly has brought awareness for cervical cancer and I hope young women learn the importance of getting smear tests done regularly to diagnose any early symptoms.”
