Louis Oosthuizen Masters Record

Lodewicus Theodorus “Louis” Oosthuizen is a professional golfer from South Africa who won the Open Championship in 2010. He has come second in all four major tournaments, including the 2012 Masters Tournament, the 2015 and 2021 US Opens, the 2015 Open Championship, and the 2017 and 2021 PGA Championship.

After a strong showing in the majors in 2021, Louis Oosthuizen will compete in his 14th Masters. Following a T26 result at Augusta National, the South African finished second in the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open, before finishing third at Royal St. George’s in the Open Championship.

Oosthuizen, 39, has a total of six runner-up finishes in majors, including his best Masters finish in 2012, when he lost in a playoff to Bubba Watson.

The South African is the only player in Masters history to have both a hole-in-one and a double eagle (at No. 16 in 2016). (No. 2 in 2012). His ace ricocheted off his playing partner J.B. Holmes’ ball and into the cup.
