Patrick Nathaniel Reed is a professional golfer from the United States who competes on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. On the PGA Tour, he has nine victories, including one major event, the 2018 Masters Tournament.

He’s also won two World Golf Championships: the WGC-Cadillac Championship in 2014 and the WGC-Mexico Championship in 2020.
Reed has competed for the United States in team games such as the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup. He has earned the nickname “Captain America” as a result of his Ryder Cup performances.

In 2021, Patrick Reed, the 2018 Masters champion, won the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines for the fourth consecutive year on the PGA Tour. Reed, a native of Texas, is playing in his ninth Masters Tournament and has finished in the top ten in each of the last two.
The 31-year-old has nine PGA Tour victories under his belt since turning professional at the age of 20. Reed led Augusta State to back-to-back NCAA men’s team championships as an amateur in 2010 and 2011.
