Angela “Angie” Watson is the wife of American professional golfer Bubba Watson. Angela Watson rose to fame after her marriage to the popular golfer.

Angie Watson is a a 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m) Canadian whom Bubba Watson met at Georgia while he was on the golf team and she was on the women’s basketball team.

The pair first met when Bubba was at the University of Georgia playing in a pickup basketball game. Angie, who had just graduated, was watching that game.

During the match, someone accidently crashed into Angie on the side-lines and, once Bubba checked she was okay, the two struck up a conversation. It was from that point they began dating and would eventually marry in 2004.

However, in 2009, Angela Watson was diagnosed with an enlarged pituitary gland, which accounts for her height.

Unable to have a child naturally, various family issues, including the illness and death of Bobby Watson’s father in 2010, kept them from attempting to adopt until 2011–12.

In March 2012, one week after a potential adoption fell through at the last moment, Bobby Watson and his wife adopted a one-month-old baby boy named Caleb Watson.

In late 2014 the Watsons adopted a baby girl called Dakota Watson.
