June Brown passed away at the age of 95. She previously stated that ‘doing exactly as you damn well want’ and indulging in fags, Guinness, and chocolate is her secret to a long life.

June Brown, who played Dot Cotton in EastEnders, died Thursday at the age of 95.
Despite the fact that the much-loved actress died in her mid-nineties, she lived a long and fulfilling life, which she attributed to doing “what you damn well want.”

She was also quoted as saying, “What’s the sense of calculating how many cigarettes I smoke a day?” when asked about her 20-a-day smoking habit.
“I’ve been on them for over 70 years.” she furthered
John Altman, who played Dot Cotton’s son Nick in the film, spoke about the beloved actress and the one habit she couldn’t seem to kick back in 2020.
June tried but failed to quit smoking after spending nearly 70 years of her life smoking 20 cigarettes each day.
According to Nasty Nick, she was smoking half a pack of cigarettes every day in 2020.
