On Monday, police said they had apprehended one guy as a suspect in the mass shooting that killed six people and injured 12 others in Sacramento on Sunday.

According to Sacramento police, Dandre Martin, 26, was identified as an “associated suspect” and was arrested for assault and illegal handgun possession.
Martin’s legal team has been contacted by CNN for comment.
During the first inquiry, detectives uncovered over 100 shell casings, as well as at least three structures and three cars that had been struck by bullets.

Three homes were searched by police, and at least one pistol was found. Authorities have received more than 100 video or photo files through a tip portal, according to authorities.
According to Police Chief Katherine Lester, there were numerous shooters and a major altercation before the gunshots on Sunday.
The incident has devastated the families of the dead, confounded the community, and enraged those who are fed up with yet another mass shooting.
