Jon Batiste took the floor at the Grammy 2022 and wowed all the participants that were present at the event. He played a brief piano interlude while dressed in a black cape before coming on stage.

Jon performed his hit song, Freedom, from his 2021 album We Are. He enlisted a full band as well as backup dancers in colourful attires.

Jon has won five out of 11 Grammys for which he was nominated at this year’s ceremony, the biggest of which was Album of the Year for his We Are.
Jon took home awards for Best Music Video, Best American roots Performance, Best American Roots Song, and Best Score Soundtrack for Visual media which he won alongside Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
