Toyota GR Corolla hatchback: Is the GR Corolla Real? Are the Corolla hatchback Turbo?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla hot hatch is here with 300 horsepower and all-wheel drive.

A six-speed manual transmission is standard on both the base model, called Core, and the Circuit Edition.

Expected to arrive in the US for the 2023 model year, the Toyota GR Corolla is the long-awaited hot hatchback version of the popular Corolla hatchback.

It should be noted that no sedan body style will be offered.

The GR Corolla will be offered in two trims: Core and Circuit Edition.

The latter adds a carbon-fiber roof, hood bulge, and larger rear spoiler.

Are the Corolla hatchback Turbo?

It’s the better driver’s car overall and a far more proficient hatchback when it comes to performance thanks in part to its optional turbocharged 1.5-liter engine.

The Corolla hatchback are turbo charged.

Under the hood of the GR Corolla is a turbocharged three-cylinder engine plucked from the from the GR Yaris—a hatchback that the Japanese automaker sells in global markets outside of the United States.
