Why was Teresa Giudice hospitalized?

Teresa Giudice’s “emergency medical treatment” last week, according to Dolores Catania, was an appendectomy.

Catania told E! News on Monday, “She got her appendix out.” “It just takes time to recover now.” But because it was an emergency surgery, she is in a lot of discomforts.”

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 51, went on to say that she “just spoke” with her co-star and that “she’s not good.”

Giudice, 49, has been back in her hometown since Friday.

“She isn’t feeling well at all. “It’s horrible,” Catania said. “She’s in a great deal of pain.”

Gia Giudice, Giudice’s 21-year-old daughter, broke the news first and requested prayers.

“You’re such a trooper. “I love you,” she wrote with a photo of her mother in a hospital bed.

The mother of four has been busy thanking her friends on social media for sending flowers, cookies, and other delicacies, but she has yet to mention the actual surgery or her recovery.
