Curtis rose to the status of baroness through her husband. According to Architectural Digest, when Curtis married British-American author Christopher Guest in 1984, he was not yet a baron.

When his father died in 1996, however, he inherited his title. Guest doesn’t put much stock in his title, and Curtis is no exception. She seldom ever speaks about this aspect of her life. Curtis told Architectural Digest, “It has nothing to do with me.”

Jamie Lee Curtis is the definition of Hollywood royalty. The “Halloween” actress is the daughter of two Hollywood superstars. Jamie’s father, as her surname suggests, was the late Tony Curtis, the heartthrob who ruled the industry in the 1950s and 1960s with films like “Some Like It Hot,” starring Marilyn Monroe.
Jamie is also the daughter of Janet Leigh, who rose to immortality after playing in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 psychological drama “Psycho,” a picture that has repeatedly appeared on lists of the finest films of all time, including one compiled by the British Film Institute.
