Courtney Love: Who is Kurt Cobain’s wife?

Courtney Love is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She was born on July 9, 1962, in San Fransisco, California.

Love worked as an actress into the early 2000s, appearing in big-budget pictures such as Man on the Moon (1999) and Trapped (2002), before releasing her first solo album, America’s Sweetheart, in 2004.

Love has also been an active writer; she co-created and co-wrote three volumes of a manga, Princess Ai, between 2004 and 2006, and wrote a memoir, Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love (2006).

On February 24, 1992, a few days after the conclusion of Nirvana’s “Pacific Rim” tour, Cobain and Love were married on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.

Love wore a satin and lace dress once owned by Frances Farmer, and Cobain donned a Guatemalan purse and wore green pyjamas because he had been “too lazy to put on a tux.” Eight people were in attendance at the ceremony, including Grohl.
