The 43-year-old Olympic swimmer quit SAS Australia after being left physically exhausted by the gruelling challenges. Geoff returned to camp after turning in his armband for a tear-filled video call with Roxy his partner before returning home.

‘Oh. Oh, you’ve done a fantastic job. Everyone is so proud of you. Geoff, it’s wonderful. You did an excellent job. ‘How are you doing?’ She said.
Geoff told Roxy he was ‘tired’ after several days on the tough course.
‘I’m just exhausted.’ He continued to cry and added, “I’m exhausted.”

‘I’m not at the same level of fitness as everyone else, and I kept falling behind and feeling exhausted as time went on.’ I couldn’t seem to get back on my feet. It was simply nonstop, but it was fantastic.’
The couple welcomed son Rafe in August last year, with the family residing in Singapore.
‘We’re fantastic. We’re so proud of you. We’re so excited to have you back. We love you,’ Roxy told him.
Geoff was formerly married to Sara Hills, with whom he has two children, Gigi, nine, and Mila, seven, from 2011 till 2018.
