The search for Madeleine McCann is expected to end this year according to reports.

Madeleine McCann went missing during a family vacation in Portugal over eleven years ago, and her mother believes she is still in the Algarve.
“That’s where she was last,” she continued, “and I don’t think she’s been taken a million miles away.”
McCann said she and her husband, Gerry, had done extensive research into the data surrounding kidnappings and discovered that the children were rarely taken far from where they went missing.
“It’s all speculation,” she said, “but we’ve learned that’s usually the case.” She also expressed a strong bond with the resort. “I’ve always stated Praia da Luz is where I feel the most connected to her.”

Her mother claims that her desire to find her “certainly hasn’t changed at all” over time.
“We are not going to give up. If you considered quitting, you wouldn’t be able to settle. I’m looking for a conclusion, a resolution. It doesn’t matter what it is “she stated
Christian Bruckner, a convicted paedophile, was accused last June of kidnapping and murdering Madeleine, then three years old, from a family villa in Portugal’s Algarve region in 2007.
He is currently serving a seven-year sentence in Oldenburg, Germany, for raping an American pensioner in 2005, but has yet to face any charges in connection with Madeleine’s disappearance or alleged murder.
