The Valspar Championship is an annual PGA Tour golf tournament held on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida, northwest of Tampa.

The tournament began in 2000 as the Tampa Bay Classic, and it was originally held as a fall and late summer alternate event. In October 2000, it was held opposite the Presidents Cup, and in September 2002, it was held the same week as the WGC-American Express Championship.

From 2003 to 2006, the Tampa Bay event was the last full-field event before the Tour Championship, with a slot in the schedule all to itself in late October (and early November in 2003). The title sponsor was the Chrysler Corporation.
