What is Harmony Week in Australia? How do you celebrate Harmony Week?

Harmony Day is an Australian government initiative that promotes the notion that “Everyone Belongs,” emphasizing the significance of inclusion for all Australians. Thousands of Harmony Day events have taken place across Australia since 1999 in childcare centres, schools, community groups, churches, businesses, and federal, state, and local government agencies.

Harmony Week is a chance for all Western Australians to get together and celebrate our diverse multicultural state. Every year, from the 15th to the 21st of March, the week encourages everyone to experience, discover, and appreciate Western Australia’s rich cultural, religious, linguistic, and ethnic variety.

Harmony Day is promoted on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Morning teas, fairs, concerts, school assemblies, sporting activities, and national costume days are just a few examples of the various events that have been held to highlight cultures, customs, and backgrounds.
