Fernando Gabriel Tatís Medina Jr., nicknamed “El Niño” was born on January 2, 1999, in San Pedro De Macoris, Dominican Republic to parents, Fernando Tatís and María Tatís. His Fernando Sr. played third base in the major leagues from 1997 to 2010 and is the only MLB player to ever hit two grand slams in the same inning.
