Who Was Konstantin Zizevsky? Russian Commander Killed In Ukraine

Guard Colonel Konstantin Zizevsky, commander of the 247th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment, was killed while protecting the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics during a navy operation.

Zizevsky was the commander of the 247th Guards Airborne Assault Regiment, according to the town’s mayor, who lives in the Stavropol Territory.

The regiment is based in Stavropol and is part of the Southern Military District of the Guards Air Assault Division. Konstantin has been the regimental commander since 2020.

On March 6, his funeral was held in Pskov, where his father, Zizevsky Vladimir, an Afghan war veteran, was also laid to rest.

His name, along with that of the other heroes of this peacekeeping mission, will live on in the history of their homeland and the hearts of its people for all time.

On Monday, Ukraine Lieutenant General Serhiy Shaptala said his troops had seized Chuhuiv from Russian control, killing large numbers of Putin’s men.
