According to the initial post, Sandler drowned. People who commented on the post said they heard Sandler died in a car accident.

According to Distractify, the original post, which began spreading on TikTok on Jan. 11, frightened followers because Sandler is one of the contemporary era’s most beloved comedians.

According to another trending post, the “Uncut Gems” actor died in a car accident in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 11.

People expressed their sorrow in the comments section. “I paused after reading and felt discomfort for a good number of minutes,” one person remarked.

Another user said, “Adam Sandler — Hello, how are you? There’s a TikTok floating around that claims you’re dead. If that’s the case, it’s a shame since you’re a fantastic actor and I enjoy seeing the films in which you appear.”
