On the show, they went on to recount a very typical falling-in-love story, from beautiful dates to tearful confessions.
Even with COVID interrupting production (and causing havoc between Irena and runner-up Bella Varelis), it was evident that these two were meant to be together.

The couple has settled in Perth after a six-month tour and are very much on the same page when it comes to starting a family.
Irena moved to Perth to be with Locky as their love blossomed in the real world, but the relocation coincided with a particularly trying period in her life.
Vasco, her father, had a medical emergency, but due to border uncertainty caused by COVID-19, Irena was unable to go to be with him.
She was also negotiating a world of internet abuse and trolling at the same time. She had a miscarriage as well.
