Willie Caulie-Stein is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball with the Kentucky Wildcats.

Willie Caulie-Stein previously played with the Sacramento Kings for four seasons before signing with the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 offseason and in January 2020, he was traded to the Mavericks.

Willie Cauley-Stein as a sophomore transferred to Olathe Northwest High School in Olathe, Kansas, where he played basketball and football. As a junior, he averaged 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

Willie Caulie-Stein was born on 18 Aug. 1993 and his parents were not married.
Willie Caulie-Stein was raised in a single parent household. His mum, Marlene Stein had to work long hours to cater for the family and to rake in more cash, she also took up work as a dental assistant in Oklahoma City.
Willie Caulie-Stein’s dad is reported to have abandoned him and the family a few years after he was born.
