Jamal Edwards was born in Luton in 1990, was raised in West London.

Jamal Edwards is credited for helping launch the careers of many household names in music including Ed Sheeran, Dave, Skepta, Headie One, Rita Ora, JME, and Stormzy.

Jamal Edwards’ innovative online music platform SBUK has over 1.22 million subscribers on YouTube alone.

Jamal Edwards made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2016, aged 26.

Jamal Edwards received an MBE for his services to music in 2013 at the age of 23 and also set up JE Delve, a grassroots youth charity to help young people garner opportunities to learn, work and develop in different industries.

Sadly, Jamal Edwards couldn’t live long enough as his company confirmed his death to the on Sunday, Feb 20, 2022.

Tributes have poured in across social media from institutions, sports stars, artists, celebrities and the general public in droves for the influential entrepreneur.
