Former Arsenal Legend Ian Wright Involved In Car Accident

English former professional footballer, Ian Wright has been invoiced in an auto crash on his way to the MOTD studio.

The Arsenal legend, 58, thanked the emergency services after he came out of the incident unhurt.

Wright was on his way to Manchester in an adverse weather condition when his vehicle was forced to stop on the side of the M56.

He was able to tweet a selfie of himself grinning on the side of the motorway with the wreckage in the background, indicating that all was well.

He accompanied the snap with the message: “Not a straightforward trip up for @BBCMOTD!
“Thankfully nobody was hurt.

Ian Wright MBE is also a television and radio personality. He is currently a pundit for BBC Sport and ITV Sport.

Wright enjoyed success with London clubs Crystal Palace and Arsenal as a forward, spending six years with the former and seven years with the latter.

Wright also played in the Premier League for West Ham United, the Scottish Premier League for Celtic, and the Football League for Burnley and Nottingham Forest.

As of 2021, he is Arsenal’s second-highest scorer of all time and Crystal Palace’s third-highest.

After retiring, he has been active in the media, usually in football-related TV and radio shows.
