Alexandra “Sasha” Vyacheslavovna Trusova was born on June 23, 2004, in Ryazan, Russia. She was raised alongside two younger brothers, Egor and Ivan.
Alexandra Trusova is the first female skater to land the quad Lutz, quad flip, and quad toe loop jumps. She is the first to land two and three ratified quads in a free skate, a feat she had achieved at the 2018 Junior World Championships and the 2019 Nepela Trophy, respectively.
Alexandra Trusova is the 2022 Olympic silver medalist, the 2021 World bronze medalist, a two-time European bronze medalist, the 2019 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, and a four-time Russian national medalist.
Alexandra Trusova currently holds four Guinness World Records, the fourth in recognition of her landed quadruple flip at the 2019 ISU Grand Prix Final. She has been ranked as the second-highest women’s singles skater in the world by the International Skating Union as of February 2022.
