What Happened To Caroline Crouch’s Baby?

Baby Lydia had been sent to live with Anagnostopoulos’ parents Georgia and Kostas following the May 11 killing of her British mum, Caroline Crouch.

However, in July 2021, a judge ruled that the baby should be handed over to Caroline’s parents.

Lydia will be raised on the island of Alonissos, where Caroline’s British dad, David, and mum, Susan, live.

Caroline Crouch was strangled to death in front her 11-month-old baby by her husband in May 2021.

Her husband, Babis Anagnostopoulos later confessed to murdering his wife after setting up an elaborate storying claiming thieves broke in and killed her.

Babis had wanted to raise his daughter from prison but a judge struck down his parental rights, giving them instead to Caroline’s parents.

Anagnostopoulos is currently in prison. He faces life in prison for the murder of his wife, staging the burglary, and lying to police.

He remains in custody in a maximum-security prison.
