Millie Birley is a 14-year-old girl from Sunderland, who has been missing for a month after she failed to turn up at school.

The Northumbria Police have been searching for the teenage girl but now more desperately.
Millie Birley, 14, is thought to be traveling around the country with her parents. Her school spent two weeks trying to contact Millie’s parents after the teen stopped showing up for lessons, but got no response.
Northumbria Police were contacted by the school two weeks later about Millie’s disappearance.

Neighbors told officers the family may have moved from the area a week earlier, without telling their landlord or school authority.
Officers are urgently searching for her and are extremely keen to make contact with her family, adding that it is imperative that her parents report to the nearest police station as soon as possible.
Millie’s family has links to the Scarborough and Hull areas but officers have not ruled out that they may currently be elsewhere.
With her pictures released to the public space, the Police have implored anyone who must have seen the missing girl get in touch immediately.
