Kurt Zouma Statement: What is Kurt Zouma’s saying about cat-kicking incident?

Former Chelsea defender and academy graduate, Kurt Zouma has been in the news for sometime due to his awful behaviour towards two cats hours to a West Ham game against Watford.

Surprisingly West Ham United named defender Kurt Zouma in the starting line-up for their 1-0 win over Watford on Tuesday, despite a video emerging of him kicking and slapping a cat.

Kurt Zouma apologized to the public after the video emerged on Monday. He said,

“I also want to say how deeply sorry I am to anyone who was upset by the video,” Zouma said. “I would like to assure everyone that our two cats are perfectly fine and healthy.

“They are loved and cherished by our entire family, and this behaviour was an isolated incident that will not happen again.”

The defender has already been fined heavily by his club and has also lost a sponsorship deal he had with Adidas.
