Paul Pender Cause Of Death

Canada’s leading winemaker, Paul Pender has recently passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2022, under tragic circumstances.

The Ontario Provincial Police have not released the cause of Pender’s death or the circumstances that led up to it.

Pender, 54, was pronounced dead at a home in Selkirk Ont., which is about an hour west of Niagara Falls, the Ontario Provincial Police had said.

The Ontario Police have charged a man, Bradley House, with second-degree murder in connection with Pender’s death.

The 31-year-old is set to appear in court at a later date, police said.

Pender was the head winemaker of Tawse Winery. He came into the public limelight after his appearance in various programs explaining the winemaking process and wine quality.

The popular Niagara region wine maker was the best in the industry and held a degree from Niagara College’s Winery and Viticulture program.

While he was alive, Pender also received Winemaker of the Year at the Ontario Wine Awards in 2011 for his excellence. Thus, his hard work and passion were recognized by everyone who are fascinated by wines.

At the announcement of his demise, one of his employees said “He was not just our manager but our good friend as well. Whenever he works with us, he treats us as a friend, not just an employee. He had maintained good behavior with his employees”.

Under his leadership, Tawse Winery achieved many pinnacles and was awarded many accolades for their wine perfection.
