Meteorologist for News On 6 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Clint Boone, passed away on February 6, 2022, just a few hours after the weather forecast, although his cause of death has not yet been released.

Boone’s daughter, Emily, confirmed her father’s passing late on Sunday night via Facebook.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of our daddy this evening. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this hard time. I love you and miss you much daddy”, she wrote.

His friend Mike Collier further announced Boone’s passing on Twitter, and said, “Just heartbroken. My best friend, Clint Boone passed away today. Please pray for his family and his TV family”.
Boone started covering the weather in 1995, and in 2011, began working in Tulsa.
The course of his career took him from Kansas to Tennessee, Arkansas, and finally Oklahoma where he worked from 2014 until his death.
Friends of the late meteorologost have shared heartwarming stories about the times Boone had been there for them as a person to lean on in times of need.
Boone is survived by his mother Anita, his father David, his son Hunter and daughter Emily.
