Nike Releases Statement In Relation To Mason Greenwood’s Arrest

Nike has released a statement following the allegations levelled against Manchester United striker, Mason Greenwood.

Nike sponsors the Manchester United and English international Forward, which has been accused of attacking a woman.

Nike’s statement reads, “We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegation and will continue to closely monitor the situation”.

Mason has been accused of assaulting his girlfriend. This was after the Greater Manchester Police issued a statement saying they were made aware of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence.

Manchester United, on the other hand, has suspended Mason from the team stating that he will not be part of their training until further notice.

Part of the statement said, “Mason Greenwood will not return to training or play any matches until further notice”.
