Did Michael Thomas Get Traded To The Bengals?

American football safety for the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL, Michael Thomas, was on March 24, 2020, signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Born March 17, 1990, Thomas played college football for Stanford. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2012.

In Week 2 of the 2020 season, Thomas caught his first professional touchdown on a four-yard pass from Joe Burrow in the 30–35 loss to the Cleveland Browns. On March 26, 2021, Thomas re-signed with the Bengals on a one-year contract.

Thomas underwent ankle surgery in the offseason due to an injury he suffered during the 2020 season. He did not played a game during the time because of a setback with the surgery. As of November 3, Thomas was officially designated out for the remainder of the season.

As a 2020 unrestricted free agent signee, Thomas played in 14 games in his first Bengals season, and made contributions on both offense and special teams- Totaled 13 catches for 132 yards and a TD in 2020.

Spent his first four NFL seasons with the L.A. Rams and entered 2021 with 54 career games played (one start), and 23 catches for 276 yards and a TD. He also has KOR experience (all with the Rams), with 10 career returns for 195 yards.
