What Did Jennie Nguyen Say That Got Her Fired?
Jennie Nguyen was fired following backlash over posts made on a now deactivated Facebook account.

According to Page Six, the now deleted photos and memes were shared in the wake of George Floyd’s murder and during the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, and the posts referred to the protesters as thugs and rioters.
In an Instagram post, Jennie Nguyen apologized for the comments.
Jennie Nguyen’s apology read;
“I want to acknowledge and apologize for my deleted Facebook posts from 2020 that resurfaced today. At the time, I thought I was speaking out against violence, but I have since learned how offensive and hurtful my words were,” she wrote. “It’s why I deactivated that account more than a year ago and why I continue to try to learn about perspectives different from my own. I regret those posts and am sincerely sorry for the pain they caused.”
