Michael Lang was an American producer, artistic manager, and concert promoter who was active in the media scenes for a number of decades. Michael Lang is known to many as the co-creator of the Woodstock Music & Art Festival in 1969.

Michael Lang was born to a Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York and he lasted moved to Woodstock, New York. Michael Lang organised many concerts in Miami and even produced the 1968 Miami Pop Festival in Miami.

In addition to the production and concert promotion, Michael Lang was a sculptor. Michael enrolled at New York University but he, unfortunately, dropped out.

Michael Lang was born on December 11, 1944, and died on January 8, 2022, at the age of 77 years. According to reports, Michael Lang died from a rare form of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York City.
Michael Lang is survived by his wife, Tamara, his five children and his grandchild.
