The World Health Organisation says cases of people getting COVID-19 and influenza are very real. Flurona is when a patient has both the flu and COVID.

Israel just confirmed its first case of flurona on Thursday according to The Times of Israel. The dual infection was identified in an unvaccinated pregnant woman whose symptoms was described as mild.
WHO says the co-infection rate is much higher in Asia, with 4.5% of COVID-positive patients getting sick with influenza at the same time.

Flurona Signs And Symptoms
Currently, there’s no set list of symptoms linked to the emerging disease confirmed by the health authorities. However, there are a few things we know about what the two viruses have in common.
The main symptoms of COVID are;
- High Temperature
- New, continuous cough
- Loss or change to your sense of smell and taste
While flu symptoms include;
- Sudden high temperature
- Aching body
- Feeling tired or exhausted
- Dry Cough
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Difficulty sleeping
