Big Daddy Weave is an American contemporary Christian band from Mobile, Alabama composed of Mike Weaver, Jay Weaver, Joe Shirk, Jeremy Redmon, and Brian Beihl, signed to Fervent Records.

Members of Big Daddy Weavers met in college while attending the University of Mobile.
In 2006 and 2007, Big Daddy Weave toured with Mark Schultz on his “Broken and Beautiful” Tour.
In 2009, Big Daddy Weave headlined the “What Life Would Be Like” Tour with guest musician Josh Wilson.
On September 3, 2019, band front man Mike Weaver released his autobiographical book, I Am Redeemed.
On January 2, 2022 Mike Weaver posted a video on social media announcing the passing of his brother Jay Weaver.

Why is Big Daddy Weave called that?
According to Mike Weaver, the name Big Daddy Weave came from the need to put something on a flyer that represented the group.
