Philips Adams commenced his football career at Rock Hill High School and proceeded to play college football at the South Carolina State University. Philips Adams played teams like Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, and the Atlanta Falcons.

Philips Adams: What Brain Disease Is CTE?

Philips Adams suffered a Chronic traumatic encephalopathy that led him to shoot and kill six persons and later killed himself. Philips Adams died on April 8, 2021, at the age of 32 years in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, known shortly as CTE, is a brain-related disease that is mostly caused by repeated head traumas. CTE can lead to dementia when the victims are not properly taken care of.

Some of the symptoms of CTE include mood swings, aggression, emotional instability, behavioural problems, and problems associated with thinking.
