Deeply saddened ,shocked actually to hear of Henry Woolf’s death. I expected him to live forever.
Henry was a magical wonderful man. Larger than life. An Icon. I remember when I first moved to Saskatoon and bumped into him in the University. I was looking for somewhere to rent and when he heard that he immediately said ‘dear girl you must rent our house, Susan and I are off to London for some months.” I ended up living in that wonderful comfortable house through a bitterly cold Saskatchewan winter, and I loved it. Henry and Susan were so kind and welcoming.
My condolences to Susan and family. We will not see his like again. The world is a much sadder and diminished place.
