Angelo Mosca was notably known as “King Kong Mosca” and “The Mighty Hercules” during his time as a wrestler. Angelo received three Hall of Fame honors due to his contribution to football in Canada.
Angelo was elected into the Canada Football Hall of Fame in 1987, then into the Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame in 2012, and finally into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.

Angelo Mosca died at Maccassa Lodge in Hamilton on November 6, 2021, at the age of 84. According to a Facebook post from Angelo Mosca’s wife, Helen Mosca, the legendary Canadian footballer died after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Angelo Mosca is survived by his wife, Helen Mosca, and his children: Angelo Mosca Jr, and Jolene Mosca.
