Astroworld Festival Concert is an annual concert that is hosted at the NGR Park in Texas by American rapper, Travis Scott. The 2021 edition of the Astroworld Festival Concert was a two-day event scheduled for Friday, November 5, and Saturday, November 6.

On the first day of the Astroworld Festival, an unfortunate stampede happened and at least eight persons have died as a result. It is reported that the first day of the event was attended by over 50,000 people.

According to the Houston fire chief, Samuel Pena, many people who attended the vent have sustained various degrees of injuries during the stampede. Samuel Pena said: “The crowd began to compress towards the front of the stage, and that caused some panic, and it started causing some injuries. People began to fall out, become unconscious, and it created additional panic. The fire and rescue service took 17 people to nearby hospitals, with 11 of them in cardiac arrest.”
Samuel Pena also revealed that over 10 persons suffered cardiac arrest as a result of the stampede.
