Douglas became a leading box-office star throughout the 1950s after making his film debut with Barbara Stanwyck in The Strange Love of Martha Ivers in 1946.

Douglas married his first wife, Diana Dill, on November 2, 1943. They had two sons, Michael Douglas and Joel Douglas, an actor and producer respectively. Douglas and Diana divorced in 1951.

Anne Buyden was born Hannelore Marx on April 23, 1919,  in Hanover, Germany. Anne was a German-born American philanthropist and film producer.

Anne and Douglas married in Las Vegas on 29 May 1954. Peter (born 1955) and Eric (1958–2004) are the two sons the couple had.

Anne became a citizen of the United States in 1959. On their 50th wedding anniversary in 2004, Anne converted to Judaism after she renewed her wedding vows with Douglas.

 Cause Of Anne Buydens’ Death

Anne died on 29 April 2021, a few days after her 102nd birthday in her Beverly Hills home. The cause of her death was not made public but at that age, she is expected to die a natural death.

Anne was buried at the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary, Los Angeles, California, United States.
