Jennifer Anne Garner was born on April 17, 1972, in Houston, Texas to parents, William John Garner and Patricia Ann English. Her father, William worked as a chemical engineer for Union Carbide while her mother, Patricia was a homemaker and an English teacher at a local college.
Jennifer Garner moved to Charleston, West Virginia, at the age of three. She was raised along with two sisters. She attended a local United Methodist Church every Sunday and went to Vacation Bible School.
