Thankfully, She was found alive after the man’s home was searched intensively by police on 3 November. Cleo received widespread news coverage and social media reaction across Australia after her massive recovery after 18 days.

Police pressed charges at the 36-year-old Carnarvon resident Terence Darrell Kelly with offenses including one count of forcibly taking a child under 16 On 4 November 2021.

The suspect appeared before the Carnarvon Magistrate’s Court. Surprisingly, he did not apply for bail. The case has been adjourned to 6 December 2021.
