Sabah Fakhri, officially called Sabah al-Din Qaws, was a Syrian singer who has been a famous singer for over half a decade. Sabah Fakhri brought modernization to the old forms of traditional Arabic music “Muwashahat” and “Qudud Halabiya.”

Sabah Fakhri was born and grew in Allepo, Syria and he attended the Academy of Arab Music of Allepo.
Sabah Fakhri proceeded to the Academy of Damascus and he graduated in the year 1948. The name “Fakhri” was given to Sabah by his music mentor and fellow Syrian “Fakhri al-Barudi.”

Sabah Fakhri commenced in a career in music in the late 1940s as he performed at the Presidential Palace in Damascus. Sabah is known to may for his great vocals on “Maqamat”.
Sabah Fakhri Cause Of Death
Legendary Syrian singer, Sabah Fakhri, passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 88. There has not been any official notice on the cause of Sabah Fakhri’s death but it is reported that he died from a natural cause.
