Alan Igglesden was an English Test cricketer who played Test Matches and four One Day Internationals for the England cricket team. Alan Igglesden played as a fast bowler and he played spent most of his cricketing career for the Kent County Cricket Club.

Alan Igglesden served as a teacher at Sutton Valence School and also became a sports center manager at Woodhouse Grove School. Alan Paul Igglesden was born on October 8, 1964, and died on November 1, 2021, at the age of 57 years.

Alan Igglesden made 276 appearances for the Kent First XI and in 1998, he handed his boots. In 1999, Alan Igglesden suffered a brain tumor as a result of an MRI scan and he was treated with radiotherapy and drugs.
