Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan was born on 30th March 1965 in Surrey. He is an English journalist, writer, broadcaster and T.V personality. Morgan became the youngest editor of the “News of the World” newspaper at the young age of 29.

As a T.V personality, Morgan has hosted his own talk show, “Piers Morgan’s Life Stories” which began in 2009. He also co-presented the ITV Breakfast Show, “Good Morning Britain” which began in 2015. He co-hosted the show with Susanna Reid. Morgan also served as a judge on “America’s Got Talent” and “Britain’s Got Talent”.

Morgan is also known for his controversial comments. Earlier this year, he left the show due to his comments about the Oprah with Meghan and Harry Interview. This received over 57,000 complaints from viewers, including Meghan herself. But he was cleared of any wrongs.
Recently, Piers Morgan has announced that he is leaving his ITV Breakfast Show, Life Stories. He is leaving because he would be joining News Corp and Fox News Media. He is to become a host for talkTV and columnist for The Sun and New York Post.
In his announcement, he said that his last show will see him interviewing his colleague Kate Garraway. She will be taking over from him as host of the show.
