Former U.S. President Donald Trump is set to launch his own social media platform called “TRUTH Social”.

The main reason for this social media platform is to “stand up to Big Tech” companies such as Facebook and Twitter that have barred him from using their platforms. The app appears to be the first initiative by the Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG).

Trump said,
“We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American president has been silenced,”.
This doesn’t come as a surprise to most people. Trump and his team had already hinted to the public for months that he might launch his social media app to challenge Facebook and Twitter.

The developers refer to the platform as:
“America’s “Big Tent” social media platform that encourages an open, free, and honest global conversation without discriminating against political ideology”
How To Download The App
The “TRUTH Social” is currently available for pre-order in the Apple App Store. A beta version is expected to be available to guests starting in November 2021.
How To Sign Up
To sign up, users should log on to truthsocial.com. For those who sign up online to receive emails from TMTG, the terms of service require that users sign away their right to file a class action.
