Charles Bundrant was a millionaire businessman from the United States who was the co-founder, chairman, and main owner of Trident Seafoods. His net worth was reported to be $1.3 billion at the time of his death.

In 1960, he graduated from North High School in Evansville, Indiana. Chuck Bundrant attended Middle Tennessee State University for a brief period before dropping out and relocating to Alaska.

Chuck Bundrant controlled 51% of Trident, a privately held company. Bundrant Stadium is named for him on the grounds of Evansville North High School in Evansville, Indiana.

Diane Bundrant was Bundrant’s wife. They resided in Seattle with their three children. Joe Bundrant, his son, has been the CEO of Trident since 2013.  Chuck Bundrant was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2006.

According to Joe Bundrant’s statement, “due to Chuck’s tenacity and persistence, as well as constant support from those close to him, he maintained doing what he loved the most.” Joe Bundrant stated that he died of natural causes with his family at his side.
