Michael Pettaway Tomlin, born March 15, 1972, is an American football coach who currently serves as the head coach of the National Football League’s Pittsburgh Steelers. He began his coaching career as a defensive assistant before taking over as head coach of the Steelers in 2007.

During his 14 seasons with the Steelers, Tomlin has never had a losing season and has guided the team to nine playoff runs, seven division titles, three American Football Conference (AFC) championship games, two Super Bowl appearances, and one title in Super Bowl XLIII.
