Julie Beth Ertz (née Johnston; born April 6, 1992) is an American soccer player who currently plays for the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), the top level of women’s professional soccer in the United States, as well as the US women’s national team.

On February 9, 2013, she made her maiden appearance for the United States national team in an international friendly against Scotland. Since then, she has appeared in over 100 games for the team.
From 2010 to 2013, Ertz was a member of the Santa Clara University Broncos. Following her collegiate career, the Chicago Red Stars selected Ertz third overall in the 2014 NWSL College Draft on January 17, 2014. Ertz was instrumental in the United States’ victories at the FIFA Women’s World Cups in 2015 and 2019.
